Entry forms and deadlines for UK WINE AWARDS 2017

img_6039Entry forms for the new national competition, the UK Wine Awards will be released very soon. These will be sent by email and available as downloads from the UKVA website here

The new webpage provides all the info you need.

The competition has been extensively re-developed to be more outward-facing, create more PR opportunities and attract more media coverage – for the benefit of the whole industry. The UK Wine Awards is being supported by several high profile sponsors.

The award winners will be announced before English Wine Week to maximize on publicity and marketing opportunities. The trophies and non-product awards will be presented at the UK WINE AWARDS ceremony in July.

Enter the UK Wine Awards to receive recognition as one of the top UK wine producers. Any English or Welsh wine made to PDO/PGI standards is eligible for all categories. Both still and sparkling wines will be judged in categories that reflect and define the styles produced in the UK today, by a team of top judges including Susie Barrie MW, Rebecca Hull MW and Oz Clarke.

Dates:
· Deadline for entry forms is 10th April (now extended from 3 April)
· Deadline for wine submissions 24th April (now extended from 18 April)
· Judging will take place in London on 15th and 16th May
· Entry cost just £55 (+ VAT) for members (£150 (+ VAT) for non-members).
· Awards announced for English Wine Week
